Welcome back to lessons - it's good to be back to a bit more normality. Hopefully things with Covid stay under control and restrictions don't change.
I just wanted to make sure a few things are very clear for everyone as it's possible that emails may have been missed, or even for some not getting through.
Location:
We now have only 1 studio in Hornsby. This is at 104/2 Burdett St - just outside Westfield and in the same building as Pre-Uni. During our shut down time we have renovated it so we now have 10 rooms for lessons all ready to be used. Most students were already having lessons here so there won't be as big a change, just potentially a room change.
Return to the Studio:
Our current Covid guidelines have allowed us to return to lessons in the studio. However we understand that not everyone will be ready to return, and that there may be sickness throughout the term. If you would prefer to stay online that is fine - many of you have already told us this, but if you haven't please let us know so our teachers will be logged on and ready for your lesson.
Please note that we also have a policy around sickness. No student or parent is to come in to the studio if they are displaying any of the following symptoms:
- Fever
- Cough
- Sore Throat
- Shortness of Breath
In this event we will replace the face to face lesson with an online lesson. If students turn up with these symptoms they will be asked to leave and the lesson forfeited.
Also if you have had contact with a confirmed case you must follow the government directions of self isolation and not come in to the studio.
While at the studio please follow social distancing and hygiene guidelines:
- Keep 1.5m distance between people where possible
- Follow directions of staff with specific instructions on distancing and safety for each instrument
- Practice good hand hygiene - sanitise hands on entry and exit

I'm glad we can continue music lessons! There's something really fun about the creative outlet it provides and our teachers look forward to seeing everyone again throughout the course of this term.

Term 2 Dates

Term 2 Dates
We are just about to start our Term 2. Lessons will be from Monday 27 April to Friday 3 July. Some students will also be having lessons on 4 July if they want. We are also offering lessons during the holidays both now and in July.
We will start Term 2 online and see if there are any changes during the term to return to face to face lessons.

Our first class stream for Term 2 (1 Year Old Class) starts in just over 1 hour. 😁 For best streaming results, make sure you turn off all other computer programs and if you don't have fast internet at home, plug in your internet via ethernet cable rather than wifi.
