Jared is an experienced cellist and pianist, having been playing since the age of 3. He began studying under the tutelage of Georg Pedersen of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at age 9, achieving his AMusA and LMusA in cello at the ages of 10 and 12 respectively. He also achieved his Certificate of Performance on piano at age 11, studying under the tutelage of Argentinian professor Marcela Fiorillo.
He has won numerous prizes at the state and national level on both instruments, and was invited to perform as a soloist in Iguazú en Concierto International Music Festival in Argentina. Jared has several years teaching experience, and enjoys imparting his love of music onto his students. He has vacancies on Tuesday evenings and a waiting list for Saturday.
